Family & Children's Services, the leading nonprofit community mental health center in Northeastern Oklahoma, seeks an experienced Grant Writer with a demonstrated history of successful procurement of government and foundation grants and contracts.
The Grant Writer works closely with program chiefs, as subject matter experts, in writing grants and proposals on a diverse range of behavioral health topics in response to RFPs, contract and grant renewals. S/he prepares progress and final reports; manages all proposal submission protocols; and maintains department calendar and records.
This full time position reports to the Chief Development and Communications Officer.
Competitive candidates will have exceptional writing skills, organizational skills, strategic thinking capabilities, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and within a team, and the ability to produce a large volume of quality work within a tight time frame. Minimum of three years of grant writing experience strongly preferred.
Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
